500W windmill, Charger controller and High voltage problem

Hello everybody,

I have a few questions concerning my windmill and the electronics behind it.

I have a chinese 500W, 2,8m, 36 volt windmill.

About the windmill itself I don´t have any problems (besides the sound it makes)
But more about the Charger controller and the 36V- 240V inverter.

First of all The charger controller (as far as I can understand) switches on a shunt when the wind speed gets to high.
This shunt is basically a heating element (from about 500W?)
The problem is that when it switches in, the load on the windmill gets higher and the windmill starts slowing down.
Thus the shunt switches of again.
With a wind speed which is around the speed where the shunt switches in, the result is a constant in and out switching from the shunt ( > 20 times per min).
I do not think that is the meaning.
Anybody an idea how to solve this?

Second problem is the inverter.
When it is windy the exit voltage of the charger/windmill is far over 36V.
(about 50V)
The inverter has an automatic safety which switches the inverter off when the Voltage is to high.
Thus, with windy weather the inverter switches off and I can´t use it. while this would be the best time to use it!

Last problem:
Maybe this has already been discussed but I could not find a solution yet.
When my batteries get empty, I would like that the inverter get switched off before the batteries are completely empty. I would like to know if there is a tool that switches of the connection between Charger controller and inverter when the batteries are getting (too) empty.

Does anybody has any commercial (and not to expensive) solutions. I am not a big do-it your-selver so ready made solutions would be appriciatted.

Regards to all
